Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen secured his 13th race win of the season with an incredible drive at the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2022. Verstappen started the race in P2 and enjoyed a solid start, taking the lead into Turn 1. He looked set for a comfortable win but multiple safety cars and a slow pit stop meant Verstappen fell down the order. You can’t write the Dutchman off though and he fought back well, overtaking Charles Leclerc and race leader Lewis Hamilton in a fantastic duel to take the chequered flag. This victory means he is now one race away from the all-time record for wins in a season.
