Saturday evening's contest between the Washington Nationals and San Diego Padres was a close 2-1 win for the home team, and it was decided by a pair of players very familiar with their guests. Josh Bell and Juan Soto, who were traded by the Washington Nationals to the Padres back on August 2nd, both connected on solo home runs to deliver the victory. Bell's blast in the bottom of the fifth knotted the game 1-1 and Soto's shot in the seventh provided the go-ahead run.
