Drew Waters

Recently acquired before the trade deadline from the Atlanta Braves, switch-hitting outfielder Drew Waters made his long-awaited MLB debut on Monday night. With the game tied in the eighth inning, Waters drew a clutch, bases-loaded walk to put the Royals ahead. They would eventually go on to win the game, 6-4, defeating their interdivisional foe, the Chicago White Sox. Waters will look to build on his debut contribution and be an integral part of the Royals outfield in the future.
