After his Club took home a 5-4 victory in the day contest of their day/night doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins, Gerrit Cole took the mound to start in the night game. Cole had an incredible on-the-mound performance, notching a season-high 14 strikeouts and allowing just one run over his 6 2/3 innings performance. Cole’s incredible outing led his Yankees to a 7-1 victory, and was the 11th win of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign.
