Ron Santo

On this day in 1960, future-Hall-of-Famer Ron Santo made his MLB debut for the Chicago Cubs in a contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Santo's debut set the stage for the incredible career he'd eventually establish, getting two hits while collecting three RBI in the process. Santo's debut performance helped his Cubs best the Pirates, 7-6.
