After stealing the 25th base of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign in the fifth inning of Wednesday afternoon's bout between his Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres, Julio Rodriguez became the first player in MLB history to notch both 25 steals and 25 home runs in a debut season. Incredibly, it took Rodriguez just 125 career games to accomplish this feat, breaking previous-record-holder Mike Trout's mark by three contests. To make the day sweeter, J-Rod also belted his 26th home run of the season, helping his Club along to their 6-1 victory.
