Eric Lauer had an incredible start in last night’s contest between his Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies. Amazingly, Lauer threw 13 strikeouts, a new career high for the Elyria, Ohio native. Lauer pitched for six innings, allowing no runs, one walk, and only five hits. Although he was not awarded the win, his showstopping performance on the mound certainly helped push his Brewers to victory, 1-0.
