Paul Goldschmidt has been named one of three NL MVP Award finalists after flirting with the National League Triple Crown for the majority of the season. The Cardinals first baseman finished 2022 with a .317 batting average, 35 home runs and 115 RBI while leading the NL in slugging (.578) and OPS (.981).
