Every year, the top offensive player in each League is presented with the Hank Aaron Award. Founded in 1999, the winners are selected by a combination of both a panel of Hall-of-Fame players and an open, fan vote. From the NL, Paul Goldschmidt was crowned the Hank Aaron Award winner for the second time in his career, becoming the 13th player to do so. Goldschmidt led the NL in OPS and slugging percentage, and finished in the top three in batting average and RBI.
