Devers' megalithic extension does much to abate Red Sox fans' anxiety after losing Xander Bogaerts to the San Diego Padres in free agency a few weeks prior. Over the past six campaigns, Devers has generated an incredible 455 runs for his Club, and last year was one of his finest seasons to date, as he posted a .295 batting average and .879 OPS at year's end.
