The owner of 2022's American League batting crown, Luis Arraez, is headed to Miami after a blockbuster trade was announced between his former Club, the Minnesota Twins, and the Marlins. The 25-year-old Arraez posted a .316 batting average at season's end and was traded for three players: front-end rotation piece Pablo López, 19-year-old top prospect Jose Salas, and outfield prospect Byron Chourio. Both Clubs are hoping the trade helps them equally fuel a successful 2023 campaign.
