Kyle Schwarber

A powerful Philadelphia Phillies lineup got even stronger on Wednesday afternoon after the club signed outfielder/designated hitter Kyle Schwarber to a four-year, $79 million dollar contract. The 29-year-old has hit 25 or more longballs in five of his seven big-league seasons, with a career-high 38 homers in 2019. Schwarber earned his first career All-Star nod last season, which was split between the Washington Nationals and Boston Red Sox.
