No one could stop Jace Peterson at the plate Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Oakland Athletics utilityman had one of the best performances of his career, going five-for-five with a pair of home runs. Peterson’s hot bat was responsible for five of the team’s 11 runs scored on the night. Furthermore, Peterson became the first Athletics player to tally five or more hits, two or more homers and five or more RBI in a game since team icon Reggie Jackson in 1969.
