Outstanding race to take podium finish

Fernando Alonso rolled back the years by securing a podium finish at the FORMULA 1 BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2023. The Spaniard enjoyed a sensational debut for the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team. Fast all weekend, Alonso started the race in P5 but produced a brilliant move to pass Lewis Hamilton and then duelled with Carlos Sainz to put himself in the top three. It was a performance worthy of a two-time champion who has put down a marker for the rest of the season.
