Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman provided an early spark for his Club en route to an ALCS Game 5 victory. The star veteran crushed a solo shot in the opening frame off Texas Rangers starter Jordan Montgomery to grab a quick 1-0 lead. This was Bregman’s 18th career Postseason dingers, tying him with Carlos Correa for the most all time before the age of 30. Bregman’s 416-foot blast was his longest since the start of the 2022, including the Postseason and it certainly set the tone in what would turn out to be a 5-4 road victory.
