Zack Wheeler

Zack Wheeler has been the definition of an ace and then some for the Philadelphia Phillies this Postseason. Entering their NLCS clash with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the 33-year-old carried a 2-0 record with a 2.37 ERA in his last three starts. Wheeler stepped up in a pivotal Game 5, allowing one run and striking out eight in seven innings to get the win. Wheeler is the fourth player in League history with at least four Postseason games of eight-plus punchouts in one campaign. He now boasts a 0.73 WHIP in 10 career Postseason starts, giving him the lowest in any such 10-start Postseason stretch.
