Following the team's 5-0 series clinching Game 5 Fall Classic win against the Arizona Diamondbacks, the hurler finds himself in a class of his own. Smith becomes the first player in League history to win three straight World Series titles on three different teams. In fact, he is the first athlete to complete this feat across any of the four major North American sports leagues. Hopefully, the pitcher will have room in his ring collection as he looks to keep the streak alive in 2024.
