Minnesota Twins fourth overall prospect Edouard Julien didn’t waste any time before making his impact felt in Thursday’s contest versus the New York Yankees. Batting leadoff, Julien got the first inning started with his first Major League hit, a single that banged off the right-field wall. The rookie wasn’t done there though. As a part of a nine-run opening inning, Julien stepped up to the plate again, crushing his first career home run. He becomes the fourth hitter since 1974 to collect his first hit and homer in the same inning.
