Ward, Trout and Ohtani hit back-to-back-to-back homers in win

Facing a 2-1 deficit in the sixth inning, Angels outfielder Taylor Ward got things started on the right track with a leadoff home run for his team. Apparently, Mike Trout told Ward on his way back to the dugout that "anything you can do I can do better" because in the following at-bat, Trout hit a solo-homer of his own. But you know what's better than back-to-back home runs? Back-to-back-to-back home runs. Shohei Ohtani agrees with this sentiment as he joined in the home run party by knocking his fifth shot of the year over the outfield wall. The last time the Angels hit three consecutive home runs was on June 8th, 2019 when Tommy La Stella, Trout and Ohtani did it.
