Arizona Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen was wheelin' and dealin' against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. The 27-year-old was once again unhittable striking out 12 batters on the night en route to another shutout performance. Gallen tallied six 1/3 innings pitched in the game, which improves his scoreless innings streak to 28. Last season, the hurler had a streak of 44 1/3 scoreless innings pitched, which was the longest in the Majors since 2015. If he reaches 30 scoreless innings, he would join Clayton Kershaw, Cliff Lee, Brandon Webb, Kenny Rogers, Roger Clemens and Orel Hershiser as the only players to have two separate seasons to do so.
