First club to advance to World Baseball Classic® quarterfinals

Team Japan is making a statement thus far in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. After three games, Japan has yet to suffer a loss and has become the first team in the tournament to qualify for the quarterfinals following their convincing 10-2 win against Team Czech Republic on Saturday night.
