Before the New York Yankees battled the Oakland Athletics at Yankee Stadium, Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc threw out the ceremonial first pitch. The 25-year-old, Monaco native stepped off of the racetrack and onto the mound, wowing fans in attendance with his impressive, over-the-plate throw. Clearly, Leclerc's effort must have inspired the New York based ballclub, as the Yankees took home a comprehensive victory, 11-3.
