Josh Naylor

Josh Naylor has been making a habit of late game heroics recently and that continued against the Angels on Sunday. With the game knotted at one in the eighth inning, the Cleveland Guardians turned to their red-hot first baseman. With two men on base, Naylor launched a ball 360 feet over the right-field wall to put his team ahead. This was the first time in MLB history a player has slugged go-ahead homers in the eighth inning or later in three straight games since at least 1961.
