Brayan Rocchio

The Cleveland Guardians recently called up red-hot infield prospect Brayan Rocchio and it didn’t take long for him to make his mark. In the top of the sixth inning against the Chicago White Sox, the 22-year-old stepped up to the plate. Instead of bombing one deep, the shortstop hit a little dribble between the catcher and pitcher, turning on the wheels to get a safe call at first. An errant throw then pushed Rocchio to second base, where he would celebrate collecting his first MLB hit.
