Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen claimed his eighth successive victory at the FORMULA 1 BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2023. It looked like the winning streak was about to come to an end with the Dutchman taking a five-place grid penalty for changing his gearbox. However nothing can stop Verstappen at the moment. A quick start meant he was in the mix straight away and was already at P4 by the end of the first lap. Verstappen then set about picking off the cars ahead of him, finding his way past Hamilton, Leclerc and teammate Pérez. He took the chequered flag with a winning margin of 22 seconds. Another textbook performance.
