Yesterday, in his first game with the Brewers since April, Blake Perkins broke out, collecting five RBI en route to his Club’s victory over the Cincinnati Reds, 10-8. First, in the second inning, Perkins sent a line drive from Reds starter Graham Ashcraft to right field, scoring teammate Andrew Monastario, and recording his first MLB RBI. The 26-year-old switch hitter wasn’t done yet, however, as just one inning later, he connected for his first big-league home run, an exciting grand slam over the right-field wall.
