Last night, the Cleveland Guardians made Major League Baseball history with their remarkable, 10-9 victory at the end of their 14-inning marathon bout with the Houston Astros. For the first time in a single contest, in the modern era, a Club overcame a deficit five times in the seventh inning or later, and that team was the Cleveland Guardians. There were highlights galore, an otherworldly diving catch from outfielder Steven Kwan and a seventh-inning homer from José Ramírez, but a walk-off hit to left field from Will Brennan sealed the deal.
