Carlos Sainz claimed pole position and a podium in front of the adoring Tifosi at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA 2023. The Tifosi were on show at Monza and Carlos Sainz was not in a mood to disappoint. A blistering qualifying session put the Spaniard on pole position for the fourth time in his career. He enjoyed an excellent start to the race holding off Verstappen for fifteen laps before the Oracle Red Bull Racing driver took the lead. Sainz kept pace, however, and was able to claim P3 for his first podium of 2023. A result hugely appreciated by the hordes of Scuderia Ferrari fans present.
