In the bottom of the first inning against the Colorado Rockies, the Atlanta Braves outfielder dashed to second base to record his 30th steal of the season. The theft makes Acuña Jr. the only player in American and National League history to tally 15 homers and 30 stolen bases within the first 70 games of the season.
