Emmet Sheehan’s MLB career has gotten off to a historic start. The Los Angeles Dodgers eighth-ranked prospect was dominant on Friday night against the Houston Astros, allowing just two runs on three hits and striking out four in six innings. Sheehan’s efforts at the mound earned him his first big league win. To conceptualize the 22-year-old’s first two MLB starts, he is the only pitcher in the modern era to throw at least a dozen innings and allow no more than three hits.
