To say the Angels trounced the Colorado Rockies last night would be a tremendous understatement as the Club set new single-game records for both runs scored and hits notched with 25 and 28, respectively. The contest was choc-full of history, as the Club also became the first team in three years to hit back-to-back-to-back home runs on three consecutive pitches, belted by Mike Trout, Brandon Drury, and Matt Thaiss in the third inning. What's more, the Club's massive, 13-run third inning also ties a franchise record forged in 1978 and repeated in 1997.
