Miami Marlins pitcher Eury Pérez has lived up to the hype and then some in his rookie season. The 20-year-old phenom proved to be unhittable again Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Marlins hurler threw six scoreless innings in a 2-0 win for his team, fanning a career-high nine batters. Pérez extended his scoreless streak to 21 innings, the longest active scoreless stretch in the Majors. At 20 years and 71 days old, he became the youngest player since at least 1901 to record three consecutive scoreless outings of six-plus innings.
