At the top of the 10th inning, with the score knotted at two, the 30-year-old made a game-changing decision. He raced to home plate on a steal attempt and was successful, avoiding the tag and giving his team a late lead. Ramírez is the first Guardians player since 2019, and the first in extra innings since at least 1974, to steal home plate.
