At just 28 years old, Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa has already accomplished so much in MLB. The two-time MLB All-Star stepped up to the plate in the third inning Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals and knocked a single into the right side of the infield. The shot marked the shortstop’s 1,000th career hit, becoming the 57th active player to reach the milestone. Correa’s bat helped lead his team to a 9-3 win over the Royals, and into first place of the American League Central Division.
