In the bottom of the first inning against the Angels on Saturday, the six-time MLB All-Star launched his 26th home run of the season. The longball is his 10th leadoff blast of the year, which sets a new season franchise record and is the most in the first half in National League and American League history. Betts' early offense helped fuel his team to a 10-5 victory.
