Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen claimed his 14th race win of the year at the FORMULA 1 QATAR GRAND PRIX 2023. With the 2023 FIA Formula 1® Drivers' World Championship wrapped up in Saturday's F1® Sprint race, you would have forgiven Verstappen for easing off slightly in Sunday's race. However, that was never going to be the case with the Dutchman whose quest for victory and competitive drive is like no other. Starting on pole, it was a typically dominant victory from the Oracle Red Bull Racing driver in tough conditions. He held off Piastri in second, winning the race by over five seconds. It was Verstappen's 14th consecutive victory from pole position – the longest streak in F1® history.
