Shohei Ohtani continues to outdo himself. The two-way star smashed a fastball over the left-center field wall in the team’s game against the New York Yankees. The seventh-inning shot put his season home run total at an MLB-leading 35, passing his 2022 mark in 64 fewer games. The 29-year-old has hit 12 homers in the seventh inning or later over his past 28 games, which is as many as any other MLB player has hit in total during that stretch.
