Alex Speas

From retired to inspired, Alex Speas has had quite the journey through the professional ranks. The hurler retired from Baseball following the '21 season to coach Little League and focus on his mental health, but decided to return to the mound during Spring Training earlier this year. The Texas Rangers are happy he made that decision. In his MLB debut on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays, the right-hander tossed 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief with three strikeouts. The effort pushed the Rangers past the Rays, extending the team's winning streak to six.
