There’s a new sheriff in Texas, and his name is Max Scherzer, as the three-time Cy Young Award winner was shipped to the Rangers in a trade with the New York Mets. The blockbuster deal added another strong, experienced arm to the team’s group. In his 16-year career, Scherzer has made the Postseason nine times, including the last four seasons. The ace was also a member of the 2019 Washington Nationals World Series title team, adding much needed championship pedigree to a franchise that has never hoisted the trophy.
