Another day, another Shohei Ohtani moment worthy of the Baseball world’s attention. Incredibly, after stealing his 15th base of the 2023 Major League Baseball campaign last night, the two-way superstar became the fastest player in big-league history to reach at least 40 home runs and 15 stolen bases in a single season. Ohtani did so in just 114 games, and, remarkably, the only other player who’s done so in 120 games or less is Ken Griffey Jr., who did so in 117 games in 1997.
