Anthony Volpe

After connecting for his 15th home run of the 2023 Major League Baseball campaign, Anthony Volpe became the second Yankees rookie in franchise history, behind just Alfonso Soriano in 2001, to belt at least 15 home runs and steal at least 20 bases in their debut season. The fateful longball was belted in the second inning of the Club's meeting with the Miami Marlins yesterday, broke a scoreless tie, and was walloped an impressive 404 feet to left-center field. What's more, it laid the foundation for the Yankees to secure the victory, 9-4.
