Allan Winans

Atlanta Braves 30th-ranked prospect Allan Winans, was up for the task in Game 1 of Saturday’s doubleheader in Queens. Winans followed up on his MLB debut on July 22nd with a beauty, collecting his first big-league victory against the Club that drafted him in the 17th round of the 2018 MLB Draft. The 28-year-old tossed seven shutout innings, racked up nine punchouts, and walked just two batters in the effort.
