Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani’s triumphant 2023 Major League Baseball campaign continued on through his Club’s bout with the Tampa Bay Rays last night. In the second inning of the contest, Ohtani belted a grand slam off Erasmo Ramirez for his 43rd home of the season, tying him with Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson for the League lead. Interestingly, the base-clearing blast was just the second grand slam of Ohtani’s big-league career, following up his first, also knocked in against the Rays, on May 9th, 2022.
