The 2017 American League MVP Award winner achieved something that hasn't been done in 10 years for the Houston Astros last night. Superstar Jose Altuve began his big night with a leadoff double in the second inning. Three innings later, he smashed a single to left field. In the next frame, he laced out a two-run triple to add to his team's lead. Needing a home run to complete the ninth cycle in Astros history and the first of his career, he crushed a two-run shot over the Green Monster to cement his historic night, a 13-5 Astros victory over Boston.
