Jose Altuve

Having homered twice in the first contest of a three-game set against the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros star Jose Altuve was ready for more on Tuesday, opening the game with a solo shot. The 2017 American League MVP Award winner followed up with another solo shot in the second inning. In the next frame, Altuve crushed a fastball to center field for his third homer in as many innings. He becomes the fourth player in MLB history to smash three dingers in the first three innings of a game and the first in the expansion era (since 1961) to go deep in four straight innings.
