In the second inning of a contest between his Club and the Tampa Bay Rays, Henderson smashed his 27th home run of the year, and in hand, one-upped Cal Ripken Jr.'s longstanding Club rookie record of 90 runs scored. To make the night even more memorable for Orioles fans, the record break came as part of an 11-run blanking of the Rays.
