Gunnar Henderson has proved himself to be one of the most exciting and dynamic young players in Major League Baseball, and last night, he threw it back to another legendary Baltimore Orioles infielder when he scored his 91st run of the 2023 MLB season. In the second inning of a contest between his Club and the Tampa Bay Rays, Henderson smashed his 27th home run of the year, and in hand, one-upped Cal Ripken Jr.'s longstanding Club rookie record of 90 runs scored. To make the night even more memorable for Orioles fans, the record break came as part of an 11-run blanking of the Rays.
