Francisco Lindor passed a historic season milestone in the New York Mets nightcap of their doubleheader. Having gone deep in the first game earlier in the day, the shortstop crushed two more homers in game two. The four-time MLB All-Star selection becomes the fourth Mets player ever to reach the 30 homer/30 stolen base club, joining David Wright, Howard Johnson, and Darryl Strawberry. "I don't really play for numbers, but it's really hard to not play for numbers here in New York", Lindor said after the game.
