Atlanta Braves slugger Matt Olson continued to add upon his career season Thursday night. The first baseman didn’t waste any time, powering a two-run shot (54) in the opening frame to put his Club ahead early against the Chicago Cubs. The homer gives Olson 136 RBI on the season, which sets a new Braves single-season record since RBI became an official stat in 1920. Olson surpassed Hall-of-Famer Eddie Mathews in that regard as he continues to generate power in one of most potent lineups in Baseball.
