Franchy Cordero isn’t coming out of the New York Yankees lineup anytime soon. The seven-year veteran has been a hot-bat for the team and once again came up big last night against the Cleveland Guardians. On the first pitch he saw in the third inning, Cordero launched a three-run homer into right field to extend his team’s lead to 6-2. Cordero now leads the team in RBI with 10, despite playing in just six games. The Yankees would go onto the win the game 11-2.
