The Houston Astros Postseason dominance in recent memory continues with yet another series victory. Outfielder Michael Brantley and first baseman José Abreu provided the offense for the team, blasting a combined two homers and three RBI. That would be enough for pitcher José Urquidy, who hurled five and 2/3 innings of two-run ball to go with six punchouts. The Astros bullpen managed the rest of the way, allowing just one hit to close out the ALDS against the Minnesota Twins. The Astros are on their way to the ALCS for the seventh consecutive season (2017–23), which is the second-longest streak in LCS history.
